National Student Day - Win Scholarships & Prizes!


Have you have heard about National Student Day, which celebrates students’ volunteerism and social responsibility?

Additionally, there is a national competition where student submit their volunteer experiences online at the National Student Day website,www.nationalstudentday.com , for a chance to win scholarships and prizes. Schedule of Events
7 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.Free drip coffee with reusable cup in all locations – Starbucks (CCM & SSLC), CafĂ©s, Quick Mick’s, Campus View (UHALL), ExpressMart (TUC), and Market on Main (CRC)
8 a.m. - 8 p.m.UC Bookstores – 20% discount on 1 clothing or gift item to all students with UC ID
9 a.mParking – Free fortune cookies for students until they run out in Campus Green, Calhoun, University Avenue, and Woodside Garages.
9 a.m. - 5 p.m.PNC - Play games such as dartboard, corn hole, basketball, and enter the chance to win a Spring Semester Parking Pass.
10 a.m. - NoonPNC - Kiss 107.7 broadcasting live
10 a.m. - 4 p.m.Hoxworth Bloodmobile on McMicken Commons and signup sheet for Fall Blood Drive

All students who give blood today will receive a coupon for the Official Fan t-shirt from UC Bookstores
11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.Farm to Fork Lunch featured items at MarketPointe and CenterCourt

Live mannequins modeling UC apparel including the Official Fan t-shirt at TUC Food Court entrance and UC Bookstores entrance

Cincinnati Dance Marathon and Relay for Life are partnering with the Student Alumni Council. Registration begins at Alumni Commons, $10 per person. Come enjoy music, food, fun, and interact with with champions from Cincinnati Children's Hospital and cancer survivors with the American Cancer Society.
5 p.m.Free UC Sustainability water bottles to the first 350 students (CRC) beginning at 5 p.m.
7 - 9 p.m.Catskeller Unplugged music series with free 'Skeller sticks and soda
7 - 9 p.m.Homecoming Week outdoor movie (Catch Me If You Can) with free popcorn and soda. At Sigma Sigma Commons with FREE parking at the Alumni Center parking lot. Co-sponsored by the Student Alumni Council and Commuter Student Association.
